PHASE I/II STUDY OF LIPOSOMAL CURCUMIN IN COMBINATION WITH STANDARD RADIATION AND TEMOZOLOMIDE IN PATIENTS WITH NEWLY DIAGNOSED HIGH-GRADE GLIOMAS:

NOTE:

The following information is provided to highlight the emerging scientific interest in liposomal curcumin. The cited research relates to an intravenous (IV) formulation, whereas our product is available in capsule form.

POTENTIAL ROLE IN HIGH-GRADE GLIOMAS

CURSOMAL USAGE:500 mg once daily as an adjunct to radiation and temozolomide therapy in patients with newly diagnosed high-grade gliomas, under oncologist supervision.

INFLUENCE & POTENTIAL ROLES IN CANCER CARE & SUPPORT

APOPTOSIS INDUCTION

Helps activate programmed cell-death pathways, promoting the removal of abnormal cells.

Blood vessel network iconCircular medical icon showing a branching red blood vessel network.

ANGIOGENESIS INHIBITION / VEGF MODULATION

Reduce VEGF-related signalling involved in the formation of new blood vessels that support tumour growth.

Purple cell iconCircular medical icon showing a large purple cell with nucleus and smaller cells.

ANTI-INFLAMMATORY ACTION / NF-κB MODULATION

Modulate NF-κB and other inflammatory pathways associated with tumour-promoting inflammation.

IV infusion bag iconTransparent medical icon showing an IV infusion bag containing amber fluid and a curved tube.

CHEMOSENSITIZATION

Increase the sensitivity of some cancer cells to chemotherapy.

GUT MICROBIOME SUPPORT

Interact with gut microbiota and support microbial balance; clinical significance is under investigation.

Blue medical shield against virusesClean vector illustration of a blue medical shield and white cross protecting against two green virus cells.

MODULATES IMMUNE RESPONSE

Enhance T-cell activity and modulate immune signalling, reducing tumour immune evasion.

Green cellular protection shieldClean vector illustration of a layered green shield with a white segmented protective-cell emblem.

ANTIOXIDANT & CYTOPROTECTIVE

Protect healthy cells and tissues from oxidative damage and treatment-related stress.
